Salidatan also added that this activity in relation to the MTF-RDP/2 is part of the Bangsamoro struggle in support to the peace process in Mindanao in which BDA’s mandate is anchored upon.
Further, Operations Head and concurrent Project Coordinator Rhadzni Taalim gave inputs on the humble beginnings of the Agency along with all its accomplishments and what future can it bring to the Bangsamoro communities in the countryside especially now that a Bangsamoro government is set to begin.
This one-week activity is being facilitated by the BDA training team headed by Hashim Manticayan with Swaib Mohamad and Mokamad Alon, both Learning and Development Assistants.

Meanwhile, updates on ALS program and best practices are facilitated by Datumama Kabagani, Division ALS Coordinator for DepED Maguindanao II. Other presenters joining the team are District Alternative Learning Coordinators (DALC) who are Armando Patagani of Datu Odin Sinsuat and Mary Ann Rawadin North Upi District.
At the closing program to be held on July 28, Asec. .H. S. Ambat of Department of Education – National is expected to grace the event and witness the ceremonial signing of the memorandum of agreement entered into between the BDA, DepEd and the Community and Family Services International (CFSI) as key partners in the ALS implementation.
ALS, a component of the MTFRDP/2 aims to cater education needs of vulnerable groups, particularly women, orphans and indigenous people.
MTFRDP/2 is a program partnership signed between the BDA and the Community and Family Services International (CFSI) which aim is to improve access of targeted communities in the conflict-affected areas in Mindanao to basic socio-economic infrastructure and alternative learning system.
This intervention is comprised of engaging the communities through a community-driven development and alternative learning system with an end in view of making those productive, participative and peaceful communities. Moreover, this is in line with the Normalization Aspect of the CAB.
MTFRDP/2 is supported by the Mindanao Trust Fund (MTF) with various donors such as the European Union, the government of Sweden, Australia, Canada, United States, New Zealand and the World Bank, which also serves as Trust Fund Administrator and Secretariat.
The Spanish Cooperation Agency for International Development (AECID) is also supporting the project.
