Development Planning

The Bangsamoro Development Agency (BDA), as mandated by the FAB (Section VII, 4c) and per instruction by MILF Chairman Murad (issued March 22, 2013), takes the lead role in the formulation of the BDP.

The Bangsamoro Development Plan

The Bangsamoro Development Plan (BDP) is an initiative of the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF), with support of the Government of the Philippines (GPH) and development partners, to define a short, medium-term and long-term vision and strategy for the recovery and development of the Bangsamoro. 

The BDP is anchored in, and guided by, the Framework Agreement on the Bangsamoro (FAB) and its Annexes and the need to sustain the momentum of the peace process by providing strategic directions for the delivery and upgrade of basic services in Bangsamoro communities during and beyond the transition period.

Volunteerism in building people in service of Bangsamoro

July 5, 2022. After the war in early 2000 in Mindanao, a call for the help to serve the communities ravaged by conflict in the region was circulated among Bangsamoro professionals. Many have responded to that call, which contributed to the birth of an agency founded by the strong will of volunteers to help in the Bangsamoro cause.
The Bangsamoro Development Agency (BDA Inc.) was established in 2002 and was duly registered as non-government organization in 2019 with the name, BDA Inc.
In reaching twenty years of service to Bangsamoro, BDA Inc. wishes to honor its volunteers who have been part and are still with the agency through the years.
In this article, we share to you those narratives that speak of the dedication, commitment, values and wisdom of the people at BDA Inc. Note that these are just few of those thousands who were/ are with us at BDA Inc.
