The Bangsamoro Development Agency (BDA) welcomed its new chairman of the board of directors (BOD) Ustada Abusaliha Macacuna.

Macacuna officially took the seat of chairmanship on August 26, 2019 replacing Dr. Saffrullah M. Dipatuan, who is now a minister to the Ministry of Health- BARMM.

Macacuna was a member of BDA- BOD in 2011 and was appointed as the second regional manager for the agency’s regional management office in Ranaw.

“Being the new BDA Chairman is a big challenge because we all know that it involves many things like decision-making, leadership, and money. But since it is the decision of the Central Committee, we can’t do anything but to accept the new assignment”, he stated

“I am asking for the support of other BOD member, staffs from CMO, regional, provincial offices of BDA. I am encouraging them not just to maintain but strengthen the unity within the organization”, Macacuna told.

“I look forward how to manage this (BDA) more better in the future especially that we are now in the Bangsamoro government (BARMM)”, the new BDA chair ended.
