In Brgy. Kinebaka, the project was 1.45KM one lane concrete road funded under the Supporting Access to Basic Services and Building Institutional Capacity in Conflict-affected Communities Mindanao (MTFRDP/2-AECID).
The road according to the community is indeed beneficial for them.
“For us women, it will be easier for us going to the market to buy for daily commodities.”
They recalled that before, there was only one vehicle transporting in the place, which was very difficult.
In Brgy. Datalpandan, the project was 1.0KM one-lane concrete road with cross drain supported under the Mindanao Trust Fund- Reconstruction and Development Project Phase II (MTFRDP/2).
The barangay also received solar dryer with warehouse and water system level II (spring development).
During the turnover ceremony for both barangays, the people’s organization received certificate of turnover that signals the formal acceptance of the project and the responsibility on operation, maintenance and sustainability.
Various stakeholders attended the ceremony such as the community members, people’s organization, municipal and barangay local government units, MILF political committee, development catalysts, contractor, members of the Bangsamoro Islamic Armed Forces (BIAF), the Task Force on Camp Transformation (TFCT) Camp Badr, Bangsamoro Development Agency (BDA) and Community and Family Services International (CFSI).
