Ground breaking ceremony for the construction of Water System Level II (Spring Development)
Written by BDA CommunicationsNOVEMBER 27, 2020. Through a ceremonial rite, a Teduray community in Brgy. Rifao, North Upi, Maguindanao rejoiced during the ground breaking ceremony for the construction of WATER SYSTEM LEVEL II (SPRING DEVELOPMENT) this week in the said barangay.
Mary Jane Limao, 33 said that they are happy for this project because it will provide the whole community with safe water.
Her family and the rest of the people in the barangay are relying on a deep well to get water for daily consumption.
Up in the mountain, access to basic services is difficult for Mary Jane and the whole village.
"We go to the public market on weekly basis to get some of our needs. We walk for four hours to get there, and it is very hard, mostly when it rains because the road is not good", Mary Jane stated.
On health, medical workers visit at community every week.
Planting of vegetables and farming of rice, corn and other local crops like coffee is the source of living of many families in the Brgy. Rifao.
FREE IFTAR.Aside from food pack distribution,BDA Inc.also facilitated serving of free Iftar meals to selected orphanage in Cotabato City and Qur'an Center in Sultan Kudarat,Maguindanao.

Volunteerism for Bangsamoro encouraged among BDA staff
Written by BDA CommunicationsA senior official of the Bangsamoro Development Agency (BDA) urged staff of volunteerism for the upcoming Bangsamoro government during the weekly meeting of the agency on September 14, 2018 at BDCCCI, Cotabato City.
Dr. Rizaldy Piang, vice-chairman of BDA Board of Directors told staff to think on what one can contribute voluntarily to the Bangsamoro over the benefits he/she can get.
He added that as employee of the BDA, one should have specific knowledge and skills that can be helpful for the Bangsamoro.
UNFPA consultant met BDA for health priorities in Bangsamoro

Today, March 22,2019 is a courtesy visit of the United Nations-International Labour Organization (UN-ILO) to the Bangsamoro Development Agency (BDA). In attendance is BDA Board of Directors (BOD) Chairman Dr. Safrrullah M. Dipatuan, ILO Director Mr. Khalid Hassan and his company.

Turkey govt. express strong support to Bangsamoro
Written by BDA CommunicationsIn a courtesy meeting with the Bangsamoro Development Agency (BDA) on June 5, 2018, officials from the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA) expressed strong and continuing support to Bangsamoro.
According to BDA executive director Mohammad S. Yacob, the TIKA delegates came in Cotabato City to witness and facilitate the implementation of Ramadhan Program.
“They are here with us for the 300 Iftar Meal and 300 Food Pack distribution for this holy month”, Dir. Yacob disclosed.
He added that part also of the visit was discussion and expression on support to Bangsamoro.
In a courtesy meeting to the Bangsamoro Development Agency (BDA) on June 17, 2019 in Cotabato City, the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA) discussed the intention to visit Office of the Chief Minister and other ministries of the BARMM.
Hashim Manticayan, BDA deputy executive director welcomed the visitors. BDA is facilitating the schedule of visit of TIKA to the BARMM.
TIKA is a government department of the Prime Ministry of Turkey, responsible for organization of the bulk of Turkey's official development assistance to countries.
TIKA officials visit on-going projects in Bangsamoro
Written by BDA CommunicationsEnes HANCIOĞLU, Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA) Deputy Country Director to the Philippines and Kaan Mahmut DEMÍREL, Expert Engineer visited the on-going infra projects in Central Mindanao on August 5-6, 2018 for monitoring and validation purposes.
The officials went to Brgy. Mother Bagua in Cotabato City where 4-classroom school building is being constructed and to Camp Darapanan in Sultan Kudarat, Maguindanao, a community-recipient of birthing clinic.
Said projects along with other infrastructures that are also underway in the provinces Lanao del Sur, and Davao Oriental are funded by the TIKA of the Turkey Government.
Tahderiyyah App wins Silver Anvil Award
Written by BDA CommunicationsThe Bangsamoro Development Agency (BDA) together with partners from Smart Communications shared joy over the recent recognition awarded by the 54th Anvil Awards on January 30, 2019 in Manila, Philippines.
The two organizations received the Silver Anvil Award for #LearnSmart: Digitizing local language and culture by the community, for the community”, which is about the Tahderiyyah Mobile App that was developed and launched in 2018.
Designed for kindergarten children, said mobile app aims to make learning the Arabic letter and numbers and the Islamic Values become more fun and motivational for the Bangsamoro kids.
BDA executive director expressed delight for this achievement and thanked partners for the support and recognition.
