One with the fight against polio, the Bangsamoro Development Agency (BDA) gathered 196 social mobilizers on October 25, 2019 at agency's regional management office (RMO) in Marawi City.

Social mobilizers are tasked to conduct mapping of children aged 5 years below subject for vaccination against (poliomyelitis/polio). 

Those social mobilizers are distributed in 39 municipalities in Lanao del Sur to disseminate information about the importance of polio vaccination. Polio vaccination is being advocated by the national government since outbreak has been recently declared in the country. 

BDA is working with the Community and Family Services International (CFSI) for this undertaking.
