Developing and piloting of socio-economic model for durable solution in transforming Bangsamoro communities into productive economic
The project was designed to formulate a socio-economic model that will be significant for Bangsamoro communities to become productive agri-economic areas.
Under the project, BDA and UNFAO worked together in mobilizing existing people’s organizations who were provided with the necessary skills and training on farming to help them improve their harvest and production to become more fruitful.
Training included values transformation, financial management to better manage their resources/income as an organization, and among others.
The project also provided the farmer-beneficiaries farm inputs and farm equipment that they can use to further improve farming processes to increase income.
